White barns have been such a treat to see enter our local wedding scene in recent years. As a Philadelphia wedding photographer for nearly a decade, I have photographed events at so many different venues. Kylan Barn in Delmar, MD was easily our favorite white barn wedding venue of the 2022 wedding season. We had the honor of photographing Brittany and Jared’s October wedding there and it was such a joy from start to finish. Not only was the barn space itself visually stunning with clean white lines, draping and fairy lights but the grounds were boundless. We had full use of the farm itself for the beautiful bride and groom’s photo wish list which included- the barn, tree lined drive, wild flower field, pond, cornfield and the dreamy woods where they held the ceremony.
Real World White Barn Wedding
It is obvious that the owners of Kylan Barn weddings have really listened to today’s wedding couples are looking for. I’m excited to share more specifics about the day we captured on site! Brittany and Jared used the separate bride and groom suites on property as they got ready for the big day. When creating their wedding timeline, we knew that they preferred to spend as much time together on their wedding day as possible which had us include a First Look in their timeline. This also allowed us to make the most of the endless photography opportunities that Kylan Barn had to offer.
