Parque Ridley Creek Wedding in the Summer

Kristen and Justin are married!! These two have such an easy way about them – and it’s very clear to see that they belong together. The entire day, I just kept thinking about how excited they were to be married – and truly, that’s how every couple should feel on their wedding day. Kristen and Justin planned a romantic wedding day at the beautiful Parque Ridley Creek in Media, PA. Their day was filled with the most stunning summer florals and sweet personal touches. I can’t wait for you to see them all!

Parque Ridley Creek Wedding

Perhaps one of the most beautiful things to see on Kristen and Justin’s wedding day was how strong their family unit is. Justin’s son, Dominic, held a special place in all of the wedding events. The bond between him and his father and him and Kristen is just wonderful to witness. Honestly, I loved photographing the three of them – and seeing the way Kristen and Justin included Dominic in as much as they could.

Kristen and Justin decided to host their ceremony in the gardens of Parque Ridley Creek! It was amazing. All of the greenery around us and the historic home behind us were the perfect backdrop. Kristen and Justin’s ceremony was filled with lots of beautiful emotion. First, Justin cried while Kristen walked down the aisle. Then, her mother cried, too. Justin even handed Kristen’s mom a tissue. Even with all the happy tears, lots of laughs were had, too!!

Summer Wedding Reception in a Ballroom

Afterwards, Kristen, Justin, and their guests headed inside the manor at Parque Ridley Creek for their reception. I love that they brought so many bright summer colors into the space – including pinks, oranges, and lovely teal napkins at each table. It all brightened up the room and reminded us it was still summer! My favorite decoration? Their two cat balloons! Kristen and Justin have two cats at home, so it was a sweet little nod to their feline family. During Kristen and Justin’s first dance, Dominic got to join them and the three of them had a sweet moment together. After their dances, Kristen’s sister Lisa gave a wonderfully touching speech and Justin’s brother had a good time making everyone laugh.

The dance floor opened up after that – which is where most of their guests stayed through the night. I helped Kristen and Justin sneak away to enjoy the beautiful sunset we were graced with for a few last portraits. It’s honestly one of my favorite times of night with my couples!!
