Classic Waterside Glen Foerd on the Delaware Wedding | Philadelphia Wedding Photographer | Erin and Patrick

Erin and Patrick were married on the beautiful Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend 2019 at Glen Foerd on the Delaware in the Torresdale section of Philadelphia. Not only was the sun shining but the weather was calm and clear. What more could you ask for on your wedding day? Erin and Patrick went to school together, and their relationship blossomed over many years. Their shared love of crew and their eventual decision to go into the medical field (Erin a Pediatrician and Patrick an ophthalmologist) really solidified their relationship. Family was a huge component of the day with their respective bridal parties being composed of their siblings. Erin’s 2 sisters and 1 brother and Patrick’s 2 brothers and 1 sister. The mixing of two families was such an incredible thing to behold. Their lives had been intertwined for many years but this day was about stepping into married life together with those they loved most.

They had a touching and personal ceremony at the historic Old St. Joseph’s Church in Old City, Philadelphia. After exchanging their vows they were ushered into a small room near the rectory to hug and share a kiss and celebrate finally being husband and wife! It was a beautiful moment. Their day continued on to the beautiful Glen Foerd on the Delaware where they celebrated the night away with friends and family. There was even a Bruce Springsteen sing-a-long in which Erin’s dad and aunt totally cut loose! It was amazing! They ended the night with some ice cream from the delicious Little Baby’s! Yum!

Wishing these two so much love and happiness as they begin their married life together! What an accomplishment!
