We walked through the front gates of the arboretum and she followed quietly alongside me with her own camera in hand. We walked for a bit until Amanda arrived. The three of us decided to just walk until we found the perfect spot. Each of us anticipating the first perfect shooting location walked off into the arboretum. It was one of the first days that it was possible to be outside without completely freezing through. Although, not entirely spring-like the sun was perfect. We crunched through some snow that lingered on the ground wandering back through the trees. I clicked off my first film exposures and got used to my Dad’s old Canon AE-1. Once we stumbled upon a little cabin I couldn’t help but break out my digital workhorse and captured these. Check out the digital portion of my shoot with Kristen and stay tuned for the my film scans!
